Prime Minister Narendra Modi, at a public rally in Munger, Bihar, voiced his concerns over the Inheritance Tax proposed by the Congress party. He warned the public that the Congress party is targeting their property.
“The Congress now has an evil eye on your property,” Modi cautioned. He further explained that the Congress party plans to “survey the houses and land of farmers and implement Inheritance Tax.”
Modi also claimed that the Congress party is proposing a law that would prevent individuals from transferring their land and property to their children. “Congress has come up with such a law that you will not be able to give your land and property to your children,” he asserted.
The Prime Minister further alleged that the ‘Guru’ of the ‘Shehzade’, a term he often uses to refer to Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, is planning to appropriate more than half of the people’s property if the Congress party comes to power.
He also highlighted the silence of the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) on this issue, stating, “During all this discussion, the RJD is silent because they also want to be a participant in its property and enjoy it.”
The proposed Inheritance Tax has stirred up a political storm, with the BJP and its allies opposing the move. The Congress party, however, contends that the tax could be a significant revenue generator for the government.
The public is eagerly awaiting further clarification from the Congress party on the specifics of the proposed Inheritance Tax and its potential impact on the common people.
