A New Era Begins in Odisha: Mohan Charan Majhi Sworn in as Chief Minister

Bhubaneswar – In a grand ceremony held at Janata Maidan on Wednesday, Mohan Charan Majhi was sworn in as the new Chief Minister of Odisha. The event was graced by the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who had arrived earlier in the day to attend the ceremony.

The Prime Minister, fresh from his own swearing-in for a third consecutive term on June 9, was welcomed at the airport by the Governor of Odisha, Raghubar Das, and the Chief Minister-designate, Majhi. Modi was seen in his signature style, donning a traditional white kurta and churidar, accentuated by a light-colored jacket.

The oath-taking ceremony was a star-studded political event, with several high-profile leaders from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in attendance. Among the dignitaries were Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.
