Rajasthan Minister Jogaram Patel addressed the ongoing protest by Congress MLAs, stating that the only way to end a deadlock is through compromise. He reiterated that the state government is open to discussions and urged the opposition to engage in meaningful dialogue rather than resorting to disruptions.
“Our doors are always open. We sincerely want to move beyond this impasse and focus on public issues in the assembly,” Patel said, emphasizing the government’s willingness to negotiate.
He also criticized the Congress for its “disrespectful behavior and derogatory remarks,” calling on the party to issue an apology before moving forward. “We are prepared to be as flexible as possible to resolve this situation, but constructive discussions can only happen if there is mutual respect,” he added.
The minister underscored the importance of debate and discussion in a democratic setup, urging the opposition to prioritize the interests of the people of Rajasthan over political disputes.
