On the auspicious occasion of Mahashivratri, Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma along with his family offered prayers at the Raj Rajeshwar Temple, located within the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) in Jaipur.
The CM sought the blessings of Lord Shiva for the prosperity and well-being of the people of Rajasthan. Devotees across the state observed fasts and participated in special pujas, marking the festival with deep spiritual significance.
Speaking on the occasion, CM Sharma emphasized the cultural and religious importance of Mahashivratri, stating, “Lord Shiva symbolizes peace, wisdom, and righteousness. May his divine blessings guide us all towards a path of harmony and progress.”
The Raj Rajeshwar Temple, located at the CMO, holds historical significance, with previous chief ministers also offering prayers there on key occasions. The temple saw a large number of devotees today, with special aartis and rituals performed throughout the day.
Mahashivratri is celebrated with great devotion across Rajasthan, with temples in cities like Jaipur, Udaipur, and Jodhpur witnessing large gatherings of devotees offering milk, bael leaves, and flowers to Lord Shiva.
