Rajasthan CM Bhajanlal Sharma Reviews Youth Affairs Initiatives, Prepares for Khelo India University Games 2025

Jaipur: Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma on Friday chaired a high-level review meeting to assess the progress of budgetary announcements related to the Youth Affairs and Sports Department and to finalize the action plan for the upcoming Khelo India University Games 2025.

During the meeting, officials presented detailed updates on the status of projects and schemes announced in the state budget aimed at promoting sports and youth development. The Chief Minister emphasized the importance of timely implementation of sports infrastructure projects, training facilities, and talent development programs, ensuring that Rajasthan emerges as a strong sporting hub in the country.

A key focus of the meeting was the Khelo India University Games 2025, which Rajasthan is set to host. Sharma directed departments to work in close coordination to ensure world-class arrangements for the mega sporting event. He stressed that the Games will not only provide a platform for budding athletes but will also highlight Rajasthan’s capability to organize large-scale national sporting events.

The Chief Minister also instructed officials to give priority to youth engagement initiatives, including skill development, sports scholarships, and modern training facilities. He reiterated the government’s vision of empowering youth through sports while promoting a culture of fitness and discipline across the state.
