Jaipur: Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma on Thursday chaired a high-level review meeting at the Secretariat to assess the ongoing preparations for Pravasi Rajasthani Day, which will be celebrated on December 10. The event aims to honour Non-Resident Rajasthanis (NRRs) who have made notable contributions across various fields while promoting the state’s culture, heritage, and development globally.
During the meeting, Chief Minister Sharma emphasized the importance of ensuring timely, coordinated, and meticulous arrangements for the upcoming event. He directed senior officials from all concerned departments to work in close coordination to ensure that the programme reflects the vibrant spirit and cultural richness of Rajasthan.
He stated that Pravasi Rajasthani Day is not merely a celebration but also a platform to strengthen engagement with the Rajasthani diaspora, encouraging them to contribute to the state’s development and investment initiatives. The Chief Minister noted that Rajasthan’s expatriate community plays a vital role in promoting the state’s image worldwide and should be made to feel connected and valued through such initiatives.
Officials briefed the Chief Minister on the preparations for the event, including arrangements for logistics, cultural performances, exhibitions, and sessions highlighting the state’s investment potential. CM Sharma also stressed on ensuring top-notch hospitality for the guests arriving from different parts of India and abroad.
The meeting concluded with directions to finalize all arrangements well in advance to make Pravasi Rajasthani Day 2025 a grand and memorable celebration of pride, progress, and partnership.
