Jodhpur, Rajasthan: Rajasthan Education Minister Madan Dilawar on Thursday lauded Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s efforts to make education more employment-oriented through the National Education Policy (NEP).
Speaking at an event in Jodhpur, Dilawar said, “Prime Minister Narendra Modi is bringing employment-oriented education through the National Education Policy. His vision is that, along with education, employment should be provided.”
He emphasised that the NEP aims to equip students with practical skills and self-reliance, ensuring they can generate their own livelihood even if government jobs are limited. “Even if a government job is not available, students should become so capable that they can earn their own livelihood by generating their own employment,” the minister added.
Dilawar highlighted that the NEP represents a transformative shift in India’s education system, focusing on skill development, entrepreneurship, and holistic learning to prepare students for real-world challenges.
