Rajasthan CM announces Rs 300 crore for temples, plans to send 3 lakh pilgrims to Ayodhya

Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma has announced a major initiative to boost religious tourism in the state, saying that his government will spend Rs 300 crore on the development and renovation of temples across Rajasthan. He also said that he will arrange for 3 lakh people from the state to visit the Ram temple in Ayodhya, which is under construction.

Sharma made these announcements at the inauguration ceremony of Chalaknechi Mata Panorama, a religious and cultural complex in Chalakna village near the India-Pakistan border in Barmer district. He said that the complex, which showcases the history and culture of the region, will attract tourists from across the country and abroad. He also promised to make a route map for the development of tourism in Barmer-Jaisalmer, which he said has immense potential.

The Chief Minister also appealed to the people to support Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections 2024, saying that this election is of Modi and his vision for the country. He urged the people to vote for the BJP candidates in all 25 seats in Rajasthan and give them a huge margin of victory. He set a target of winning every seat by more than 5 lakh votes.

The inauguration program was attended by several dignitaries, including Union Minister of State for Agriculture Kailash Chaudhary, State Minister of State for Industries KK Vishnoi, Rajasthan Heritage Authority Chairman Omkar Singh Lakhawat, and other BJP leaders and workers.
