Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw on Tuesday announced significant developments aimed at improving rail connectivity and passenger experience in Rajasthan. During his visit to Pali, Vaishnaw reviewed the ongoing development work at the Pali railway station and assured that the station would soon feature a modern, upgraded look.
Speaking to the media, the minister said, “I reviewed the ongoing development work at Pali railway station and the station will get a modern look. A new express train will soon be flagged off from Jalore to Delhi via Pali.”
The modernization project at Pali station is part of Indian Railways’ broader initiative to upgrade stations with enhanced passenger amenities, improved infrastructure, and better facilities to meet growing travel demands.
In addition to the station revamp, the upcoming express train connecting Jalore to Delhi via Pali is expected to strengthen regional connectivity, providing faster and more convenient travel for passengers. The new service is likely to benefit daily commuters, business travelers, and tourists, while boosting economic activity across the region.
Vaishnaw emphasized the government’s commitment to expanding modern railway services in Rajasthan, ensuring that both urban and rural areas gain improved access to key trade and travel routes.
