Jaipur | Rajasthan Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari on Sunday praised the Indian Army during her visit to the ‘Know Your Army’ exhibition, organised in Jaipur as part of the Army Day Parade 2026 celebrations. The exhibition has been set up to familiarise citizens with the strength, discipline, and capabilities of the armed forces, while also highlighting their vital role in safeguarding the nation.
Addressing the media, Diya Kumari described the Indian Army as the best in the world and credited the leadership at the Centre for continuously upgrading the country’s defence preparedness. “The Indian Army is the best army in the world. Due to the Prime Minister’s efforts, we also have the latest equipment,” she said, referring to the induction of modern technology, advanced weapon systems, and improved infrastructure for the armed forces.
The Deputy Chief Minister said her visit to the exhibition was a deeply satisfying experience, as it offered insights into the working of the Army and the life of soldiers. She noted that such platforms help civilians better understand the commitment and sacrifices made by Army personnel while serving in difficult and often hostile conditions. “It felt very good to come here,” she added.
Encouraging public participation, Diya Kumari urged citizens, especially the youth of Jaipur, to visit the exhibition in large numbers. She said the event serves as an important learning experience for young people and can inspire a sense of patriotism and interest in defence services. “Everyone, especially the youth of Jaipur, should come here and see,” she said.
The ‘Know Your Army’ exhibition, organised alongside the Army Day Parade 2026, features displays of modern military equipment, interactive exhibits, and demonstrations, aimed at strengthening the bond between the Indian Army and the public while fostering national pride.
