Rajasthan – Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini attended a civic felicitation and Holi Milan function organized by the Saini community in Jaipur Rural. During the event, Saini extended his warm greetings to the Chief Minister of Rajasthan and the people of the state on the occasion of Rajasthan Divas, which was set to be celebrated the following day.
“I extend my greetings to Rajasthan CM and the state of Rajasthan on the occasion of Rajasthan Divas, that is tomorrow,” Saini said, emphasizing the importance of celebrating the state’s heritage and culture. Reflecting on the significance of Holi, the festival of colors, Saini described it as a symbol of “brotherhood and pride,” stressing the unifying power of the celebration that transcends all boundaries.
The Haryana CM also paid tribute to social reformers Jyotirao Phule and Mata Savitribai Phule, acknowledging their pivotal role in breaking societal barriers. “Jyotirao Phule and Mata Savitribai Phule ended the belief that poor and females should be deprived of education,” Saini remarked, further adding, “Daughters are contributing to the development of the country,” recognizing the growing role of women in nation-building.
In the same address, Saini also commented on the controversial statement made by Samajwadi Party (SP) MP Ramji Lal Suman regarding the historical figure Rana Sanga. Saini expressed strong disapproval of the remark, stating, “Great men struggled so that the people of our country don’t have to face atrocities and it is our duty to respect such people.” He condemned the statement made by members of the Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance (INDI), calling it a sign of “mental instability” and an insult to the entire society.
“This remark is an insult to the entire society,” Saini declared, reaffirming the importance of respecting historical figures who played a key role in the country’s freedom and prosperity.
The event in Jaipur Rural was marked by festive celebrations, with community members coming together to celebrate Holi and reaffirm their unity and collective pride in both regional and national achievements. Saini’s speech highlighted the need for mutual respect and acknowledgment of historical contributions to India’s development.
