Jaipur – Union Minister Anurag Thakur, while addressing the Viksit Bharat Ambassador Programme, made a bold prediction about India’s economic future. He stated that within the next three years, following Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s anticipated third term victory, India is set to become the third largest economy in the world.
Thakur highlighted PM Modi’s mantra of ‘Reform, Perform, and Transform’, which has been a guiding principle for the government’s initiatives. “We reached the last person standing in the line,” Thakur said, emphasizing the government’s commitment to inclusive growth and development.
The Union Minister also addressed the skepticism around the Digital India initiative. Despite facing questions and doubts, PM Modi has consistently championed digitisation as a key component of India’s development strategy. This push for digitisation has been instrumental in driving economic reforms and progress.
The ‘Make in India’ initiative was also mentioned as a significant contributor to India’s economic advancement. However, Thakur pointed out that the government’s biggest achievement has been the promotion of ‘Yuva Shakti’ or youth power.
This emphasis on empowering the youth aligns with the government’s vision of harnessing the potential of India’s young population to drive the country’s growth and development.
As India stands on the cusp of significant economic growth, the government’s focus on reform, performance, transformation, and youth empowerment will be key factors in realizing this ambitious vision.
