In a significant move to facilitate the large influx of devotees attending the Radha Swami Satsang in Beas, Indian Railways has introduced special train services to ensure a smooth travel experience. The decision aims to accommodate the increased passenger load and enhance convenience for attendees traveling from various regions.
The Railway Administration has announced two special trains for this purpose:
- Ajmer-Beas-Ajmer Special Train: This train will operate in two trips. The inaugural journey will depart from Ajmer on September 12 at 17:15, arriving in Beas the following day at 12:00 noon. This train will make stops at Kishangarh, Phulera, Jaipur, Gandhi Nagar Jaipur, Bandikui, Alwar, Rewari, Bhiwani, Hisar, Jakhal, Dhuri, Ludhiana, and Jalandhar City before reaching Beas. The return journey will commence from Beas on September 15 at 15:00, with the train making stops at Jalandhar City, Ludhiana, Dhuri, Jakhal, Hisar, Bhiwani, Rewari, Alwar, Bandikui, Gandhi Nagar Jaipur, Jaipur, Phulera, Kishangarh, and Ajmer.
- Jodhpur-Beas-Jodhpur Special Train: This service will operate on two trips as well. Train number 04833 will depart from Jodhpur on September 19 at 15:30 and will reach Beas by the following morning at 10:00. The return service, Train number 04834, will leave Beas on September 22 at 15:00 and is expected to arrive back in Jodhpur by 09:15 the next day. This train will halt at Pipad Road, Gotan, Medta Road, Marwar Mundwa, Nagaur, Bikaner, Suratgarh, Hanumangarh, Bathinda, Dhuri, Ludhiana, and Jalandhar City stations.
Both special trains will feature 2 Third AC coaches, 18 Second Class Sleeper coaches, and 2 Guard coaches, making up a total of 22 coaches.
This initiative by Indian Railways is expected to alleviate the travel difficulties faced by devotees, ensuring they can attend the satsang without any hassle. The special trains will also contribute to easing the congestion on the regular routes, providing a smoother and more comfortable journey for passengers.
