Jaipur: Passengers traveling by train in Rajasthan can look forward to a significantly enhanced travel experience over the next two years, thanks to the ambitious redevelopment plans under the Amrit Bharat scheme. A total of 86 railway stations across the state will be upgraded, introducing modern facilities and improved amenities for travelers.
The Amrit Bharat scheme, aimed at transforming railway stations into more comfortable and efficient transit hubs, will see extensive renovations at stations served by both the West Central Railways and North Western Railways. The redevelopment will impact major railway stations in key cities including Jaipur, Udaipur, Ajmer, Sriganganagar, Kota, and Sawai Madhopur.
