Prime Minister Narendra Modi, while addressing a public rally in South Goa, launched a scathing attack on the Congress party. He accused the party of playing a dangerous game for votebank appeasement and intending to introduce reservation based on religion.
“The Congress is involved in a dangerous game for the votebank appeasement. It wants to give a reservation based on religion,” said PM Modi, highlighting the divisive politics that he believes the opposition party is playing.
In his speech, PM Modi also brought up the foreign tours of the Congress’ ‘Shehzada’, a term he often uses to refer to Rahul Gandhi. He claimed that the mystery of these tours is now out in the open. “He has brought an X-ray machine from there,” PM Modi said, adding a touch of sarcasm to his address.
The Prime Minister further alleged that the Congress party has plans to conduct an ‘X-ray’ of the country if their government is formed. “They will examine your wealth and distribute it amongst their vote bank,” he warned the public, suggesting that the Congress party’s policies are aimed at wealth redistribution.
PM Modi ended his address with a sharp jibe at the Congress party, saying, “‘Congress ki Loot, Zindagi ke sath bhi, Zindagi ke baad bhi’”. This phrase roughly translates to “Congress’ loot, during life and even after life”, hinting at the alleged corruption within the party.
The rally in Goa comes at a crucial time as the state gears up for the upcoming elections. The political temperature in the state is rising, and PM Modi’s address is expected to have a significant impact on the voters.
