Maharashtra – Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in a public meeting held in Dindori, Maharashtra, launched a scathing attack on what he termed as the ‘fake Shiv Sena’, accusing them of betraying the dreams of Balasaheb Thackeray.
“The fake Shiv Sena has shattered every dream of Balasaheb Thackeray,” Modi said, referring to the founder of the Shiv Sena. He further accused the party of straying from Thackeray’s dream of building a grand Ram temple in Ayodhya.
Modi criticized the Congress for rejecting the invitation of Pran Pratistha, a ceremony marking the consecration of a deity. He claimed that the ‘fake Shiv Sena’ followed suit, choosing the same path as the Congress. “Congress people are talking nonsense about the temple and the fake Shiv Sena is completely silent,” he added.
The Prime Minister described the partnership between the Congress and the ‘fake Shiv Sena’ as a ‘partnership of sin’. He asserted that their ‘sin’ has been exposed in front of the entire world.
Modi also claimed victory in the four phases of elections that have taken place so far. “In the four phases of elections that have taken place, the public has defeated them from all sides,” he concluded.
The comments come amid a heated political climate in Maharashtra, with the state gearing up for the next phase of elections. The remarks are likely to further intensify the political battle in the state.
