Maharashtra – Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in a public meeting in Nandurbar, Maharashtra, criticized the Congress party, accusing them of spreading lies in the ongoing election campaign. He stated that the opposition party has resorted to a “factory of lies” as they are unable to compete with him on the issue of development.
“Congress is aware that they cannot compete with Modi on development, and hence, they have started a ‘factory’ of lies in this election,” PM Modi said, directly attacking the opposition party.
The Prime Minister also addressed the controversial issue of religion-based reservation. He claimed that the Congress party’s support for religion-based reservation is against the principles of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, the main architect of the Indian Constitution.
“Congress’ stance on reservation is like ‘chor machaye shor’. Reservation based on religion is against the principle of Babasaheb Ambedkar. It’s like betraying those who framed the Constitution, a sin that is immeasurable,” PM Modi asserted.
The Prime Minister’s comments have added to the already heated political environment of the ongoing elections. The opposition is expected to respond to these allegations soon.
The upcoming election results will reveal whether PM Modi’s accusations have found favor with the voters.
