The Railway Ministry has given the go-ahead for the final survey of a new 201.30 km railway line that will connect Kota to Neemuch. This move is part of a broader initiative to improve connectivity and transportation infrastructure in the region.
The Ministry has allocated a budget of Rs 5.03 crore for the survey. Railway officials have confirmed that the Ministry has issued financial approval of Rs 5 crore 3 lakh 25 thousand for the final survey of the new railway line for Kota-Rawatbhata-Singoli-Neemuch.
The final survey will cover the entire 201.30 km stretch from Neemuch to Kota. Following the survey, the construction of the railway line will commence. A new railway station will be built in Bhainsrodgarh town of Rawatbhata subdivision as part of this project.
The new railway line will not only provide people with an affordable and convenient mode of travel but also shorten the distance between Kota and Neemuch by about 90 kilometers compared to the road route.
This project is a significant step towards enhancing the region’s transportation network and is expected to bring substantial benefits to the local communities.
