Rajasthan CM Bhajanlal Sharma Celebrates Rajasthan Foundation Day, Announces Chaitra Pratipada as Annual Date

Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma has extended his warm wishes to the people of Rajasthan and across the country as the state celebrates its Foundation Day from March 25 to March 31. In a special address during the celebrations, Sharma highlighted the significance of the ongoing events and announced that Rajasthan Day will henceforth be celebrated annually on Chaitra Pratipada, aligning with the traditional calendar.

“Rajasthan Foundation Day is being celebrated from 25-31 March… We have announced that Rajasthan Day will always be celebrated on Chaitra Pratipada,” said Sharma, emphasizing the importance of this date in marking the state’s heritage and history.

Sharma also mentioned that various programs are being held throughout Rajasthan to commemorate the occasion, and today’s event in Delhi at Bikaner House was part of a series of cultural programs being organized to engage both the people of Rajasthan and the broader Indian public.

“Programs are going on continuously throughout Rajasthan and today there was a program here in the same series… I want to wish everyone a Happy Rajasthan Day and New Year,” Sharma added, recognizing the significance of the day not only as a celebration of Rajasthan’s formation but also as a cultural and spiritual moment for its people.

The event at Bikaner House in Delhi was a highlight of the series, showcasing the state’s rich culture, traditions, and artistic heritage. Sharma praised the event’s organization and expressed his hope that such programs continue to strengthen the bond between Rajasthan and the rest of the country.
