Rajasthan CM Bhajanlal Sharma Commits to Fulfilling Promises and Critiques Previous Governments

In a candid assessment of governance and promises, Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma has highlighted significant strides made by his administration while critiquing the previous long-standing rulers. Addressing the public, Sharma underscored the importance of delivering on commitments and fostering trust through tangible actions.

“The party that ruled for 70 years, and the people of this country have no confidence in them,” remarked Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma, reflecting on the perceived shortcomings of previous governments. He credited Prime Minister Narendra Modi for ushering in a transformational era in Indian politics post-2014, citing the initiation and subsequent completion of several developmental projects.

Sharma emphasized the efficacy of the Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) governance model, particularly in fulfilling electoral promises. “After 2014, PM Modi changed those political parties and political leaders… PM Modi inaugurated those schemes, which he laid the foundation stone of,” affirmed Sharma, highlighting the execution of initiatives promised to the electorate.

The Chief Minister underscored his administration’s commitment to transparency and accountability, citing a substantial achievement in fulfilling campaign pledges. “We will fulfil the promises we are making to the public. Certainly, in 6 months, we have fulfilled 45 per cent of the promises and the reason for that is that we have gone among the public,” Sharma declared, emphasizing direct engagement with citizens as pivotal in delivering on commitments.

Sharma also referenced the recently unveiled state budget, linking it directly to the BJP’s electoral manifesto. “Even in today’s budget, which we have presented today, we have reiterated those manifestos,” he confirmed, signaling continuity and adherence to their electoral promises through fiscal policy.

The remarks come amidst ongoing efforts by the Rajasthan government to consolidate its governance agenda and deliver on public expectations. As Sharma’s administration seeks to build on its achievements and navigate challenges, the commitment to transparency and fulfilling electoral pledges remains central to their approach.

With the spotlight on governance efficacy and electoral accountability, stakeholders and observers will be keenly watching Rajasthan’s progress under Bhajanlal Sharma’s leadership, assessing the impact of these commitments on the state’s socio-economic landscape.
