Rajasthan CM Bhajanlal Sharma Unveils Statue of Ganga Singh at Shivpur Head in Sriganganagar

Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma conducted an inspection of the Shivpur Head canal system as part of his ongoing review of water infrastructure in the region. During his visit, he also unveiled a statue of Maharaja Ganga Singh, a revered historical figure credited with pioneering irrigation reforms and water management in Rajasthan.

The unveiling ceremony was attended by local officials, community members, and BJP leaders, marking a tribute to Ganga Singh’s lasting contributions to the region’s agricultural and developmental progress. CM Sharma highlighted the government’s commitment to strengthening water infrastructure and ensuring equitable distribution for farmers and rural communities.

He reiterated his administration’s resolve to complete ongoing projects on time and provide lasting solutions to water scarcity and irrigation challenges in western Rajasthan.
