Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma has expressed pride and gratitude following the inauguration of Wipro’s first hydraulic plant in North India, located in the state. The new facility, which specializes in hydraulic cylinders, marks a significant milestone for both Wipro and the region.
In a statement highlighting the importance of the plant, Sharma noted the diverse applications and growing demand for hydraulic cylinders. “It is a matter of pride for us that the Wipro hydraulic plant has started here. Be it construction, earth moving, lifting, shifting, agriculture, or mining, hydraulic cylinders are in demand in many sectors. This demand will increase,” Sharma said.
The Chief Minister extended his thanks to Azim Premji, the chairman of Wipro, for choosing Rajasthan as the location for this new plant. “I thank Azim Premji for setting up a plant in Rajasthan. It is Wipro’s first plant in North India,” Sharma added.
The establishment of the plant is expected to boost local employment opportunities and contribute to the economic development of the region. It aligns with the state government’s efforts to attract investment and foster industrial growth.
