Jaipur, Rajasthan – In a recent statement, Rajasthan’s Deputy Chief Minister, Dr. Prem Chand Bairwa, addressed the long-standing issue of Dalit upliftment and reservation policies in India.
Dr. Bairwa criticized the Congress party and other groups, accusing them of misleading the Dalit community for the past 70 years. He stated, “The way Congress and other people have misled the Dalits from the last 70 years and have done nothing to uplift them is a matter of concern.”
He further highlighted the efforts of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah in assuring the Dalit community about the continuation of reservation policies. “PM Modi and HM Amit Shah have been continuously assuring that the reservations will neither be ended nor any alterations be made to them,” he said.
This statement comes at a time when the reservation policies in India have been a topic of heated debate. The assurance from the Deputy CM is seen as an attempt to alleviate the concerns of the Dalit community and reaffirm the government’s commitment to their upliftment.
Dr. Bairwa’s comments have sparked a new discussion on the effectiveness of reservation policies and the role of political parties in the upliftment of marginalized communities. As the debate continues, the nation waits to see how these assurances will translate into action
