Rajasthan’s newly appointed Governor, Haribhau Kisanrao Bagde, expressed his gratitude to President Droupadi Murmu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his inaugural address in Jaipur. Bagde emphasized his commitment to advancing education and maintaining high standards for the state’s universities.
In his speech, Bagde acknowledged the honor of being appointed as Governor of Rajasthan, a state he described as historically significant for its valor and heritage. “I am thankful to President Droupadi Murmu and PM Narendra Modi for making me the Governor of Rajasthan. It is the land of brave Maharana Pratap,” Bagde said, reflecting on the state’s rich historical legacy.
Bagde highlighted the importance of his new role, noting that the position of Governor is akin to being the head of the Constitution in the state. “The post of Governor is equivalent to the head of the Constitution in the state. Hence, I will try to work accordingly,” he stated, underscoring his dedication to upholding constitutional values and responsibilities.
A key focus of Bagde’s tenure, he noted, will be on improving the educational standards in Rajasthan. “Education is my priority. I will work in this direction so that the universities of Rajasthan stay ahead in the ranking and the level of education progresses,” Bagde promised. His commitment to enhancing the quality of education reflects a broader goal of fostering academic excellence and advancing the state’s educational infrastructure.
Bagde’s remarks set a clear agenda for his governorship, emphasizing both respect for Rajasthan’s historical significance and a forward-looking approach to educational development. His tenure will be closely watched as he works to implement his priorities and contribute to the state’s progress.
