In a significant development for Rajasthan’s road infrastructure, Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma and Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari have held a meeting to discuss the strengthening and improvement of the state’s highways and road system.
The meeting, which took place at the Chief Minister’s residence in OTS on Monday evening, focused on the state government’s intent to make Rajasthan one of the leading states in the country in terms of road network. This is expected to boost the state’s economic and industrial development.
During the meeting, Chief Minister Sharma expressed his gratitude to Minister Gadkari for his commitment to completing every road project within the defined tenure. “Recently, we worked on creating a corridor for the Pratap Garh Kendra, and our government fulfills every promise that we make. I would like to express my gratitude to Nitin Gadkari. Every scheme that was proposed has been inaugurated by our minister within 3 to 4 years. Under the leadership of our Prime Minister, Nitin Gadkari has completed all the projects within the stipulated time,” said Sharma.
The meeting followed the inauguration and foundation laying of road projects in Udaipur on February 12. The event marked a significant step towards achieving the state government’s goal of enhancing Rajasthan’s road connectivity.
Minister Gadkari assured the state government of the Centre’s full support in developing a robust road system in the state. With these developments, Rajasthan is poised to witness a major transformation in its road infrastructure, promising better connectivity and a boost to the state’s overall development.
