JODHPUR – In a show of solidarity, Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma and Union Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, who is also the BJP candidate from the Jodhpur Lok Sabha seat, held a massive roadshow in Jodhpur today.
The roadshow, which saw a huge turnout, was a part of the BJP’s campaign for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. The event was marked by a wave of saffron as supporters thronged the streets of Jodhpur to catch a glimpse of their leaders.
CM Sharma and Union Minister Shekhawat, waving at the crowd from an open vehicle, were seen acknowledging the support and enthusiasm of the people. The leaders also took the opportunity to interact with the locals, listening to their concerns and assuring them of their commitment to the development of Jodhpur.
The roadshow is seen as a significant move to bolster the BJP’s prospects in the Jodhpur constituency, where Shekhawat is seeking re-election. The Union Minister had earlier filed his nomination papers in the presence of CM Sharma.
The BJP is banking on Shekhawat’s popularity and the support of CM Sharma to retain the Jodhpur seat. The party is confident that the roadshow will further boost their campaign and help them connect with the voters on a deeper level.
As the election fever heats up in Jodhpur, the roadshow has set the tone for an intense political battle. With the leaders leaving no stone unturned in their campaign, the Lok Sabha elections in Jodhpur are poised to be a keenly watched contest.
