Rajasthan, India – Union Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, in his recent address, emphasized the significance of the festival of Holi, describing it as a symbol of social harmony. He stated that the festival encourages everyone to immerse themselves in the same colour of joy, thereby forgetting all differences.
“This Holi is even more special as the country is celebrating Holi for the first time after Lord Ram’s Pran Pratishtha at his home,” said Shekhawat, highlighting the unique significance of this year’s celebration.
The Union Minister also drew attention to the upcoming democratic festival – the general elections. He expressed that it is a time when the citizens of the country are about to decide the destiny of the nation. He urged everyone to participate in this democratic process, emphasizing its importance in shaping the future of the country.
Shekhawat’s words serve as a reminder of the dual celebration that the country is set to witness – the joyous festival of Holi and the significant democratic process of elections. His message of unity and participation resonates with the spirit of both these events, encouraging every citizen to partake in them wholeheartedly.
